Student assessment guide

  1. Examinations are conducted live and take place at the end of the semester. There may also be periodic exams at the end of each course unit, at the discretion of the course lecturer.
  2. The examinations are written or oral or in a mixed format. Written exams may include open-ended or closed-ended questions and are conducted with open or closed notes. The course lecturer may give developmental assignment topics that must be answered by a due date. Assignments may be part or total of the course grade.
  3. The examination requirements of each course and the examination procedure (written, oral, with open or closed notes, format of subjects, duration, etc.) are determined by the Study Program, always within the framework of the Study Regulations, and if necessary supplemented with clarifications by the lecturers before the start of each examination period.
  4. After the grades are uploaded on the electronic student log platform, the lecturers announce the days and hours of cooperation with the students for the presentation of the written essays or the graded assignments.
  5. The above information are uploaded on the course’s webpage on the e-learning platform eclass.uniwa.gr.
